Cookies, and what the two forms do with what you type

Privacy policy

This site stores nothing

Both forms travel by email and no further: no database, no file storage, no statistics and no cookie of its own. What you send lives in the company's mailbox — not here.

What cookies are

When you visit a website, information can be stored in or retrieved from your browser, most often in the form of cookies or through other technologies for collecting and storing information about a user. Cookies are text data held in your browser and meant to be used by web pages. What they hold may concern you, your preferences or the device you reach the internet with — a computer, a tablet or a phone. Most often that information is what makes a website behave the way you expect it to. It usually cannot be tied to you personally, but it can be used to make your use of the web more personal.

Because we respect your right to the protection of your personal information, you may choose not to allow the use of cookies. If you do, however, that may affect your use of the site and the services we are able to offer you.

Third-party services used by this website may set cookies of their own when you visit. Those sites and services may have a different policy on cookies. Every resource served from outside this site's domain should be treated as a third-party service.

Strictly necessary cookies

Strictly necessary cookies are needed for a website to work and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually set in response to something you did that amounts to a request for a service, such as filling in a form.

You can set your browser to block these cookies or to notify you about them, but then parts of the site will not work correctly. These cookies hold nothing that can be tied to you personally. The same goes for cookies that identify a session.

On this site there are none of those either: the pages are static, there is no sign-in and there is no session, so the site itself sets no cookie whatsoever. The one third party that loads anything into your browser is the check in front of the two forms, described below.

Performance cookies

This site does not measure visits. It loads no analytics tool and sets no cookie for statistics — we do not count visits, we do not sort pages into popular and unpopular ones, and we do not follow how you move through the site.

We do not track visitors in any other way either, so your browser's “Do Not Track” setting has nothing to switch off here.

Should that ever change, the change will be described in this place, and the date above the text will show when.

The check in front of the forms (Cloudflare Turnstile)

In front of both forms stands Cloudflare Turnstile — a check that tells a person from a bot without asking you to read distorted letters. It loads on the two pages that carry a form, and only when it is configured; the rest of the site does not load it at all.

To do its work, your browser loads a script from challenges.cloudflare.com and shows a small frame served from the same address. The script sets no cookie for this site and writes nothing into your browser's storage for it. What happens inside that frame is on Cloudflare's domain and under Cloudflare's own terms.

For the check itself, Cloudflare processes your IP address, details of your browser (the User-Agent and the fingerprint of the secure connection) and this site's public key. Cloudflare states that these are used to tell bots from people, and not to identify, profile or target individuals.

Two hidden fields travel with the form: one carries the result of Cloudflare's check, the other serves the same end — telling a person from a program. Neither holds data about you, neither is written down anywhere, and Cloudflare does not see what you typed into the form's fields.

The two forms

The site has two forms. The inquiry on the Contact page collects a name, an email address, a phone number and a message. The application on the Careers page collects a name, an email address, a phone number, the position you are applying for, a message, and a CV as an attached file.

Both travel by email only, to an address of the company. Nothing you send is written to a database, to a file or to an archive — this site has nowhere to write it.

The email reaches the company's mailbox through an email delivery service — Mailtrap. It is a third party, and along the way it processes the message, including the attached file where there is one. It is the only third party that sees what you send.

We use what you send only to answer the inquiry or to consider the application. It stays in our mailbox for as long as an email stays anywhere, and that is also where it can be deleted.

Outside those two forms the site collects no personal data: there is no registration, no sign-in and no account.

Your CV, and other people's data in it

A CV is the most sensitive thing this site touches, so where it stands is said plainly: the file passes through the server and leaves it as an attachment to a single email, by the route described above. It is not stored, not renamed and not copied anywhere. PDF, .doc and .docx are accepted.

If your CV names referees or other people, their personal data travels inside the same file. You are the one sending it; we do not extract it, do not separate it from the file and do not process it on its own.

An application is sent from the Careers page and only by an action of yours. We accept no CV through this site by any other route.

Changes to this policy

We may update our personal data protection policy from time to time. When this policy changes, a notice will be put up in a visible place in our office, together with the updated personal data protection policy.

The date above the text shows when this text was last changed.
